How would you encourage a child to write more? Well it’s quite a challenge! One possible solution would be to practice peer response. The child reads his writing to his friend. His friend would listen attentively. As he/she is listening they jot down two main points:
what he/she likes about the writing
secondly, what he would like to know more

What happens is that the one reading his/her writing, starts to answer the questions put forward by his friend. In the end his story (or any other piece of writing) would become longer and longer. See for yourselves in the following album. They actually cut a piece of paper and put it in the appropriate place!
